This mod is mainly a gameplay tweak to Jedi Knight: Academy. I thought that the original game could have used more difficulty and that light-saber combat did not feel "authentic" enough--player and enemies often receive deep lightsaber cuts and remain merely bruised. The solution addresses these two fronts.

First, it changes the game's combat damage ratios to correspond with the idea of wielding a deadly light-saber. Higher dismemberment settings are put in place. These changes meant that enemies' vital stats had to be adjusted to keep game-balance. Second, this mod allows the player to increase periodically in power so as to compensate for the enhanced difficulty and blinding speed of light-saber fights.

The mod lets the player decide when should they deserve the next level of power and when should they use advanced lightsaber models. I have also included a small graphical tweak to the light-saber blades to make them appear much closer to how they look in the movies. As an extra bonus for those that enjoy role-playing their characters, I have included key bindings that unlock new animations and saber-styles.
